Integrate 2017, held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre 29-31 August, drew a record number of attendees to experience exhibitions, networking, and education.
CEDIA had a strong presence at the show, with a stand where members could network and get questions answered, and industry pros could learn about the association and inquire about joining.
CEDIA offered a robust training programme, with the most CEDIA Training courses ever offered at Integrate, including 14 core courses.
CEDIA Director of Technical Curriculum David Meyer and volunteer Geoff Meads of Presto AV delivered education to more than 100 attendees — an increase of more than 150% over 2016’s turnout. Session titles included Emerging Technology Trends, Residential Networking Essentials, and Introduction to Smart Home Wiring.
On Wednesday, 30 August, at the Pan Pacific Melbourne, CEDIA recognized the winners of the CEDIA Asia Pacific Awards. Seven companies across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia were honored for their outstanding installations and will go on to compete for the global CEDIA Awards, which will be announced 29 September in London.
All CEDIA Asia Pacific winners will also be featured in the global Awards Yearbook, coming in December, and can be seen here
