Charlie Kindel and Shelly Palmer: CEDIA 2016 Keynotes

The 2016 Keynotes in Dallas, were, in a word, special. Shelly Palmer held down the Wednesday evening slot with a message regarding the CEDIA pro becoming an "architect of the man/machine interaction," (while leaving the concept of the dystopian future of that merger to Hollywood), as we noted in our recap.

Here's Palmer, adviser to C-Suites throughout the tech industry, regular analyst for U.S. cable news outlets, and one of LinkedIn’s Top 10 Voices of Technology:

The Friday morning Keynote at CEDIA 2016 focused on the shift from "GUI" to "VUI," replacing the word "graphical" in that famous acronym to "voice."

The man behind that presentation had the right bona fides: that'd be one Charlie Kindel, director of Alexa Smart Home for Amazon:
