To show our appreciation for our volunteers, we turn the spotlight on them from time to time and learn what drives them day in and day out. Today, we meet volunteer Rochelle Carrington of Sandler Training.

A volunteer since 2014, Carrington currently volunteers in support of CEDIA Training.

Why do you volunteer?

Because CEDIA is a very professional and highly regarded association that I am happy to be a part of. 

What’s your advice for new volunteers?

CEDIA will make sure you are organized – it's one of the easiest organizations to work with.

What would be the title of your autobiography?

Laugh a Lot, Learn a Lot

What songs are on the soundtrack to your life?

“I Gotta Feeling,” by the Black Eyed Peas

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

Monterey, California

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?

A Barbie

What would we find in your refrigerator right now?

Lots of fruit, coconut water, some kind of meat, and homemade watermelon pickles.

What is your favorite color? Why?

My favorite color is purple, because it’s royal and calming.

What phrase do you use the most?

"Does that make sense?"

What is your all-time funniest prank?

Signing my newly 30-year-old sister up on multiple dating sites.
