To show our appreciation for our volunteers, we turn the spotlight on them from time to time and learn what drives them day in and day out. Today, we meet volunteer Geoff Meads of Presto AV Ltd in Ely, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom.

A volunteer since 2003, Meads currently volunteers as a CEDIA instructor.

Why do you volunteer?

Contributing to the development of people's careers and the wider industry is hugely rewarding.

What’s your favorite CEDIA memory?

When a student that I’d taught on their very first week in the industry won their first CEDIA Award.

What’s your advice for new volunteers?

Volunteering without thought for personal reward will bring you the most enjoyment and personal satisfaction.

What would be the title of your autobiography?

Show Me a Sine (with that spelling...)

Fresh OJ, pesto, salad, vegetables, sausages, and Stella Artois

What is your favorite restaurant/color/sport/animal?

Restaurant: The Old Fire Station (Ely, Cambs UK)
Color: Red
Sport: Running
Animal: Our dog ‘Wilf’ (Cocker Spaniel)

What phrase do you use the most?
