Electronic Systems Certified (ESC) Exam
Now that you’ve decided CEDIA's Electronic
Systems Certification (ESC) exam is right for you, follow these simple
steps to get started.
Step 1: Take the FREE Pre-Test
Assessment. This tool allows you to better determine your course of
study and help you decide if you are prepared to take the certification exam.
After registering, the Pre-Test Assessment will be available for 90 days.
Step 2: Evaluate your Pre-Test
Assessment results. If you passed and feel you are ready to take the
exam, register for
the exam. If you did not pass or feel you need to prepare more, analyze your
scores against the ESC
Job Task Analysis. Carefully evaluate your
results of the Pre-Test Assessment in each of the four domains. Review the

and visit CEDIA Training to help decide your course of study.

of Residential Electronic Systems
book.Step 3:Register for
the Exam. Computer-based exams are
available at testing centers around the world or onsite at CEDIA trainings.

The Electronic Systems Certification (ESC)
exam is 100 questions.
A passing score of 70% is required to pass the exam and earn the ESC professional
Systems Certification (ESC) is valid for five years. A recertification
exam may be taken to maintain the certification; however, if more advanced CEDIA
certifications are earned, they will supersede this
