This course educates industry personnel about such
design considerations as room location, layout, and shape. This course examines
the impact of lighting conditions, sightlines, and noise generating components
on design, and teaches participants the importance of factoring ergonomics,
safety, and acoustical distortion into a holistically designed room.
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be
able to:
- Differentiate between a variety of physical room factors in determining
the optimum home theater design
- Summarize fundamental acoustic principles and how they affect room
design
- Discuss lighting factors to determine best lighting design for both
performance and aesthetics
- Describe the holistic principles necessary for the integrations of room
design and system
