The Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, and Energy of the Massachusetts State Legislature is again considering the issue of telecommunications licensing. Because of this consideration, a public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) at the Massachusetts Statehouse in Room A-2.
Telecommunications licensing has four key pieces of legislation. The main piece of legislation is Senate Bill 204, "An Act Relative to the Licensing of Telecommunications Professionals." Click here to view a draft of this proposed legislation.
CEDIA has been working on this issue, and will be attending this hearing to testify. It is important CEDIA Members attend the hearing to show support for CEDIA’s message and mission. Please make attending this public hearing a top priority.
