Money for Nothing

Like Dire Straights, you can get money for nothing…. although maybe not your chicks for free. Many manufacturers, while cutting back, are still offering co-op programs based on purchase made throughout the year. Some points programs will expire come December 31, so check with your supplier, distributor and/or rep firm today to see if you have any benefits accumulated. There’s no reason to lose your credit simply because you failed to claim it. Many companies won’t necessarily alert you of pending forfeiture, so check with them ASAP. Most likely you can use your benefits or co-op dollars towards a company brochure, flyer, website or another marketing campaign. Don’t lose your co-op benefits or they’ll go right back into the manufacturer’s bottom-line profit instead of yours. Get your money for nothing… well, not really for nothing, but at least claim what you’ve already earned.
