Attendees Describe 2007 CEDIA Management Conference
as Refreshing and Challenging
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – More than 150 electronic systems business leaders attended the 2007 CEDIA Management Conference held Feb. 7-10 in Jacksonville, Fla. In its eighth year, CEDIA Management Conference continues to offer CEOs and senior managers of small and large operations the best value for their business development dollars.
Internationally recognized keynote speakers at the 2007 CEDIA Management Conference included former NBA team owner Pat Croce, author of 110%; Warren Greshes, author of The Best Damn Sales Book Ever; and Andy Andrews, author of The Traveler’s Gift and the PBS special “The Seven Decisions.”
“This was my first year attending the Management
Conference and it was an eye-opening experience for me. The Management
Conference was refreshing
and challenging; it’s a great way to get into the mindset
of the owner or manager, for me it was a great first step toward
improving
and growing our business,” said Ryan London, CEDIA member
from Access Point Designs in Encino, Calif.
The conference organized company executives into “Strategic Management
Forums” customized by size. The sessions facilitated discussion
of challenges and solutions for individual business practices in the
residential electronic systems industry.
“It is interesting because CEDIA knows the issues we face as business leaders in this industry and this conference gives us the tools we need to solve these problems. It helps us not only work in our business but work for our business,” said Greg Hoshaw, CEDIA Management Conference alum and owner of High Definition Systems, Inc. in St. Charles, Ill.
Attendees took away valuable tools and strategies from the conference and their peers to implement in their businesses immediately.
“This was my third time attending CEDIA Management Conference and it won’t be my last. Every time I learn something that I can take back to improve my company,” said Hoshaw. “I have truly seen my company grow and benefit from the tools I take back from these programs. I can’t speak more highly of CEDIA and what it offers.”
