CEDIA EXPO recognized at the 2005 Indiana Society of Association Executives banquet
Indianapolis, Ind. – The Custom
Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) received two
Society Top
Association Recognition (STAR) awards at the 2005 Indiana Society of
Association Executives (ISAE) Awards banquet.
CEDIA EXPO 2004 earned
the Best Convention Marketing and Promotions award. CEDIA professional
staff and volunteer leadership used aggressive
and creative marketing initiatives to achieve a record attendance
of 24,500. The STAR award honors this accomplishment.
CEDIA also received
the Best Directory/Buyers Guide award for the user-friendly format
of its Worldwide Resource and Membership Directory. As CEDIA
membership grows, the directory is continuously updated with new
member information to ensure every member is accurately represented.
CEDIA
members find the directory useful and purchase additional copies
throughout the year.
“We are very proud to receive these STAR awards, and we thank
ISAE for recognizing our success in both our EXPO and our Worldwide
Resource
and Membership Directory,” said Billilynne Keller, executive
director of CEDIA. “Both CEDIA EXPO and our Membership Directory
have continued to meet and surpass our goals.”
Held this year
at the Indianapolis Marriott East, the ISAE Holiday STAR Celebration
recognizes the best and brightest products and people
in the association management industry. CEDIA was among 30 associations
that attended the event.
