Integrated Systems China Now to Take Place from April 12 to 14, 2006

Singapore – InfoCommAsia Pte Ltd (IAPL), organiser of Integrated Systems China (IS China) – incorporating InfoComm China announced that IS China 2006 will now take place from April 12 to 14 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Sylvia Phua, Managing Director of IAPL, said “With Shanghai’s hectic exhibition calendar, we are pleased to be able to secure the mid-April dates for IS China next year. As the exhibition has always attracted leading international manufacturers as well as attendees from all over China, the venue owner has acceded to our request.”

The new dates for IS China 2006 is ideal as it enables exhibitors who are taking part in InfoComm Expo in June more time to freight the exhibits out of Shanghai to the US. Expressing his support for the earlier dates is Jacob Christensen, International Product Manager, dnp denmark. “This is indeed good news for dnp denmark, which traditionally moves its exhibits to the US after its participation at IS China. The mid-April dates for IS China 2006 will allow us more flexibility and preparation time for dnp’s participation at InfoComm Expo”

IS China 2006 will feature both commercial and residential technologies and solutions for the Chinese market. The showcase has received strong support from key players of the integrated electronic systems industry. Companies which have already confirmed their participation at IS China 2006 includes Analog Way, Barco, Bosch Security Systems, Clarity Visual Systems, Christie Digital Systems, Crestron, Da-Lite, dnp denmark, Epson, Genelec, Liberty Wire & Cable, Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Stewart Filmscreen, Vtron and more. The 15,000 square metre exhibition is expected to draw some 15,000 buyers and trade visitors from key Chinese cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Shanghai.

Following the strong response to joint professional development programme held alongside IS China 2005, the three sponsoring associations – the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association® (CEDIA®), the International Communications Industries Association® (ICIA® /InfoComm) and the National Systems Contractors Association ® (NSCA®) will once again put together a comprehensive training and skills upgrading program to be held in conjunction with the exhibition.

IS China will return to the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Centre from April 12 to 14, 2006.
