Early Bird Registration for CEDIA EXPO Ends July 15
Indianapolis, Ind. – Discounted registration
fees for CEDIA EXPO 2005, the only show that meets the specialized
needs of the residential custom electronics industry, are available
until midnight PDT July 15.
Although attendees can register for EXPO
after July 15, registration fees will increase after that date. To
register online for CEDIA EXPO
2005, visit www.cedia.org/expo.
As CEDIA moves into the coming year,
it is also establishing new membership requirements. Effective Jan.
31, 2006, all residential electronic systems
contractor members must employ at least one CEDIA Certified Professional
in order to be considered Full members of the organization. Companies
without a CEDIA Certified Professional will be considered Provisional
members and will forfeit some of the outstanding member benefits.
CEDIA University at CEDIA EXPO 2005 provides a variety of educational
offerings
and a prime opportunity to certify professionals in the field.

EXPO, hosted by the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association
(CEDIA), Sept. 7-11 in Indianapolis, Ind., broke attendance
records in 2004. This year’s show will showcase an industry-leading
portfolio of education programs through its cutting-edge CEDIA University.
In addition, CEDIA EXPO 2005 again will deliver the best opportunity

CEDIA University:
CEDIA University will offer hundreds
of courses. The curriculum represents the most comprehensive educational
experience
in the industry. Additionally,
CEDIA Certification for US Installer Level I, Canadian Installer
Level I, US Installer Level II, Canadian Installer Level II, US Designer
and Canadian Designer, will be available. According to the 2004 CEDIA
member survey, companies with three to 30 employees who have at least
one CEDIA Certified Professional have higher gross revenues than
other
companies without CEDIA professionals. In addition to the program
offered at EXPO 2005, CEDIA University also offers courses online.
