CEDIA Announces Electronic Lifestyles® Designer Awards Winners
Denver (September 7, 2008) — During EXPO 2008, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) announced 32 of its member companies have been recognized for their work in design and installation. These awards, which are considered the most prestigious in the $6 billion industry1, are presented annually in recognition of member companies that exemplify outstanding integration of systems and meet their clients’ home technology needs. Two panels consisting of members from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and CEDIA, evaluated the winning entries and scored them on technical merit and design/aesthetics.
The winning companies were recognized during the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards banquet on Saturday, September 6, 2008. All winners will appear in Electronic Lifestyles® magazine which is distributed to architects, interior designers, building designers, and builders throughout the United States, and in future CEDIA publications and press releases, identified as Electronic Lifestyles® Awards winners.
