Dave Pedigo Promoted to Senior Director of Technology
Jeff Gardner Joins CEDIA as Director of Technical Training
INDIANAPOLIS (Aug, 27 2007) —The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) has appointed Dave Pedigo as senior director of technology. Jeff Gardner will replace Pedigo as the new director of technical training.
After three years of experience with CEDIA, Pedigo will now lead the Technology Council, which is a volunteer group that works to assess current trends in the industry. Pedigo’s responsibilities include overseeing the Council’s budget and working with Action Teams to forecast emerging trends and technologies which may impact the residential electronic systems industry and CEDIA members.
New to CEDIA, Gardner’s responsibilities include directing the Certified Instructor Training Program and training facility in Indianapolis, while managing training classes based on a curriculum derived from industry subject matter experts. CEDIA offers its members the opportunity to be trained with the best practices in residential electronic systems installation.
Pedigo and Gardner have extensive knowledge and background in the industry. Pedigo graduated from Towson State University in 1995 and started working at CEDIA as the director of technical training. Before beginning his career at CEDIA, Pedigo served as senior director of education for Satellite Broadcast and Communications Association (SBCA) in Virginia and worked as a technical training engineer for Hughes Network Systems in Maryland.
Gardner comes from a diverse background that includes pro audio and recording studio design. For the past several years he has focused on residential integration and home theater, working as a Systems Designer with TriPhase Technologies and as Senior Project Manager for Auralex Acoustics.
