CEDIA Honors Outstanding Member Achievements and Service with Electronic Lifestyles® Industry Awards
Denver (September 7, 2008) — The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has recognized a handful of its members for their achievements and service to CEDIA and the electronic systems industry with its Electronic Lifestyles® Industry Awards. CEDIA members were presented with awards at the organization’s annual banquet during CEDIA EXPO 2008 held in Denver.
Among those honored, was Dr. Floyd Toole, a long-time CEDIA volunteer, who received the CEDIA 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award. This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has exhibited outstanding, creative, innovative, and visionary leadership in the growth and advancement of the residential electronic systems industry.
Also recognized was Starr Systems Design of Baltimore, Maryland as the 2008 CEDIA Electronic Systems Contractor of the Year, for their professionalism, growth, and for representing the best of CEDIA though their service to the industry and their community.
Charles Lanholm of Frankentek Residential Systems, LLC was also named Electronic Systems Technician of the Year for his outstanding work on the jobsite and his dedication to go the extra mile for his company and clients.
