CEDIA Offers First-Ever Electronic Systems Technician Boot Camp in Canada
Popular three-day training comes to Sir Sanford Fleming College of Applied Arts & Technology in Peterborough, Ontario May 18–20
INDIANAPOLIS (April 30, 2010)—The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) will offer its popular Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Basic Residential Boot Camp training event in Canada for the first time ever May 18–20. The training will be held at Sir Sanford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. The offering will allow electronic systems professionals and those interested in getting into the electronic systems industry to take advantage of an intensive three-day hands-on training experience without traveling to the U.S.
CEDIA’s Basic Boot Camp provides comprehensive training for those new to the residential electronic systems industry as well as those with less than one year of industry experience. Topics include cables, connectors, and termination as well as codes and standards, jobsite safety, and speaker installation. The course includes both classroom learning and hands-on training.
