CEDIA Offers First-Ever $299 Education Pass for CEDIA EXPO 2010
CEDIA members can access unlimited education for one affordable rate
INDIANAPOLIS (June 10, 2010)—The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has announced it will offer a flat-rate pass for education offerings at CEDIA EXPO 2010 for the first time ever. The pass will allow CEDIA members to access all of the CEDIA University education they can fit into their schedule* at the show for $299.
The $299 Members Only Education Pass enables CEDIA members to take advantage of a broader range of educational offerings at the show, gaining essential skills and earning valuable CEDIA continuing education units (CEUs). Participants will have the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars off the regular individual course pricing.
“Staffing an educated and well-rounded workforce is key to the success of any electronic systems company,” said CEDIA CEO Utz Baldwin. “With the $299 Members Only Education Pass, CEDIA is offering members the opportunity to build up their employees’ skill sets at a minimum investment.”
The $299 pass covers CEDIA University core courses and electives, excluding full-day workshops and certification reviews and exams. Attendees are encouraged to take part in CEDIA’s e-Learning offerings prior to the show in order to meet desired prerequisites and therefore expand the number of courses they are eligible to attend onsite using the education pass.
To receive the discounts, participants must register to attend the show on or before the early bird deadline of July 30. Registration is available at www.cedia.org/expo. Those who are interested in the $299 Members Only Education Pass but are not currently CEDIA members may apply for CEDIA membership at www.cedia.org/join.
