CEDIA EXPO 2004 features custom electronic industryıs top training program, continuing education opportunities

EXPO education agenda offers keys to profitability, customer satisfaction

Indianapolis, Ind. – Custom electronic systems contractors and other industry professionals visiting the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) EXPO will see the latest generation of home electronic systems and also have the chance to experience the industry’s most comprehensive continuing education program, including certification review courses.

CEDIA EXPO 2004 will feature five education tracks focusing on the career paths of personnel within the residential electronics industry. The tracks offer a mix of core courses supporting certification along with seminars taught by some of the industry’s most experienced trainers and electronic systems contractors.

This year’s EXPO features educational resources to meet the needs of industry professionals at every level. Level 100 courses provide a basic overview of concepts, while Level 200 courses and above provide in-depth, advanced learning opportunities for electronic systems contractors and installers, manufacturers, sales representatives, distributors and consultants.

“CEDIA EXPO 2004 offers manufacturers, exhibitors and members of the news media an opportunity to learn about what’s current and what’s coming our way in the exciting field of custom electronics,” said Ray Lepper, president of CEDIA, and owner of Home Media Stores in Richmond, Va. “Anyone in our industry who is serious about improving their performance and success of their business will want to take advantage of the learning opportunities available at CEDIA EXPO. We cover all the bases, from product training to security systems and leadership courses. It’s all here.”

CEDIA EXPO 2004 courses will also feature new standards in video display courtesy of two industry leaders—Runco International and Stewart Filmscreen. Both companies will make significant contributions to EXPO education courses by building new screens for all classrooms and raising all video displays to 16:9 format.
