CEDIA EXPO Breaks Attendance Records Again in 2004
Nearly 25,000 attendees flood Indiana Convention
Center for annual EXPO
Indianapolis, Ind. – The Custom Electronic
Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) announced today that 24,500
custom electronics professionals converged Sept. 8-12 at the Indiana
Convention Center for CEDIA EXPO 2004. This year’s attendance
was the largest in the event’s 15-year history.
CEDIA EXPO was held September 8-12 and recorded an approximate
20 percent increase in the number of attendees. This year approximately
550 exhibitors occupied all the space within the Indiana Convention
Center and RCA Dome.
CEDIA EXPO is the only show that meets the specialized
needs of the residential custom electronics industry. The annual event
ranks as one of the nation’s top exhibitions.
“Attendance at CEDIA EXPO continues to be terrific
news for the custom electronics industry,” said Billilyne Keller,
executive director of CEDIA. “Our new attendance record this
year along with the dozens of new exhibitors is testament to the surging
demand for new technologies, education and information about this industry.
We’re proud to have this kind of success yet again.”
The show, which was held last year in Indianapolis, will
return to the Indiana Convention Center in 2005 and will move to Denver
in 2006. CEDIA EXPO 2005 will be held September 7-11, 2005.
