Continuing Education Information for Canadian Architects:

All of the education delivered by Registered Outreach Instructors meets the qualifications for only “Self-Directed Learning” credit for members of the following associations:

Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC)
The Alberta Association of Architects (AAA)
Saskatchewan Association of Architects (SAA)
Manitoba Association of Architects (MAA)
Nova Scotia Association of Architects (NSAA)
Architects’ Association of Prince Edward Island (AAPEI)
Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Architects (NAA)
Order of Architects of Quebec (OAQ)

Currently, 14 courses delivered by Registered Outreach Instructors meet the qualifications for “CORE Learning” credit (due to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) approval of these courses with Health, Safety, and Welfare and Sustainable Design designations), and one course meets the qualifications for “Self-Directed Learning” credit for members of the following associations:

Ontario Association of Architects (OAA)
Architects’ Association of New Brunswick (AANB)

All of the education delivered by Registered Outreach Instructors (ROIs) meets the qualifications for "Self-Directed Learning" credit, and some courses may qualify for "CORE Learning" credit if the course is allowed to be reported by the participant as a "structured, self-reported activity" by members of the following associations
