How CEDIA’s Industry Outreach Efforts Help You
CEDIA’s Industry Outreach Team is dedicated to getting you better connected with your builder, building designer, architect, and interior designer industry partners. These important collaborative partnerships help all involved on the design-build team develop new perspectives and refine the processes involved in delivering home technology.
CEDIA connects electronic systems contractors (ESCs) with industry partners via:
- Cross–industry educational programs
- Tradeshows
- Advertising in industry publications
- Local and national industry partner association representation
- Design-build trend analysis
Industry Outreach and its devoted volunteers have established a foundation for building relationships with industry partner associations. CEDIA participates in cross-industry tradeshows and events led by:

In addition to attending various tradeshows and CEDIA events, Industry Outreach hosts CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles® Forum and governs the Registered Outreach Instructor (ROI) program.
CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles® Forum, offered annually, is a precedent-setting event offering cross-industry education, group discussions, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities that open the lines of communication among industry partners.
The Registered Outreach Instructor (ROI) “Train the Trainer” course, was developed to raise the awareness of CEDIA within residential building channels by empowering members to deliver a consistent message through relevant high quality education while conforming to the highest standards for professional development.
