Record-Breaking Attendance at 2008 CEDIA Management Conference Highlights Continued Enthusiasm in the Electronic Systems Industry
CEDIA Management Conference Held February 27-March 1
More than 260 professionals attended the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association’s (CEDIA) ninth annual Management Conference, held February 27-March 1 at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego, Calif. A record-breaking attendance, with 100 plus first-time registrants, attendance reached a 40% increase over last year’s figures.

“CEDIA Management Conference is always a great place to spend quality time networking with the industry’s best and brightest, while also learning about how to make your business better, more efficient and more profitable, said Peter Cook, alumni attendee. “Management Conference provides me with time to get away from my business and look at it critically from an outside perspective. When I go back I’m refocused and excited about the work in front of me.”
CEDIA invited owners and management of all levels from both member and non-member companies to attend this critical event, which included world-renowned keynote speakers, compelling cross-industry presentations, enlightening strategic management forums, panel discussions, and unlimited networking opportunities.
"I found the energy and educational level of the management conference to be the best of any event I have attended,’ said Mark McCormack, first-time attendee. “We finally have the necessary tools to have residual service contracts thanks to this event. I would recommend this conference to anyone that wishes to surround themselves with the most successful business owners in our industry."

“As a residential electronic systems business owner, Management Conference gave me the same feeling I used to have when I first started in the industry. I was completely juiced with energy, ideas and a rejuvenated passion for my business. For any ESC owner this is the most important business tool available,” alumni attendee, Adam Zolot said.
The next opportunity to experience a one-of-a-kind CEDIA event will be the third annual Electronic Lifestyles® Forum, April 30-May 2 in Dallas, TX. For more information visit www.cedia.org/elforum.
