CEDIA’s Inventory Exchange Program (IEP) provides CEDIA ESC Members with a platform to buy or sell excess inventory from other CEDIA (ESC) members. The IEP enables members to easily post an item with a minimum asking price. The products listed on the site are searchable by brand name, keyword, or category.  

What products are eligible for selling/purchase?

Members may post products from participating manufacturer companies that have agreed to allow CEDIA members to sell their excessive inventory through the CEDIA Inventory Exchange. Participating manufacturers may allow for all CEDIA members to sell their products, or may restrict those who buy/sell their product. If a CEDIA member does not see a manufacturer participating in the inventory exchange, please contact that company and ask them to participate. Participation in the CEDIA Inventory Exchange is free for all CEDIA ESC and Manufacturer members.

Who from my company manages our IEP account?

Each member company can easily manage their transactions by simply going to www.cedia.org/inventoryexchange. This site is tightly controlled to ensure maximum security and thus only one person (member main representative) within the company can buy/sell products. The main representative may designate another employee to manage the account once set-up.

How are payments handled?

Agreement to buy/sell and the method of payment is conducted through the two parties (purchaser/seller). CEDIA will not facilitate the payment or transfer of funds to or from one party to another. CEDIA is not responsible for the outcome of any transaction negotiated by any party.
