According to Aging in Place Technology Watch’s Laurie Orlov, the aging and technology industry will reach $20 billion by 2020. People have a strong desire to remain independent and at home for as long as possible. The CEDIA Home Health Technology Pavilion, sponsored by GrandCare Systems, will lead attendees in a hands-on experience of the technologies that allow individuals to “age in place. ” GrandCare Systems will also be hosting various educational sessions in the pavilion to help attendees learn more about this growing industry, new technologies, and how YOU can do WELL while doing GOOD.
