CEDIA EXPO 2011 Attendee Housing Information

CEDIA Members are able to reserve hotel rooms for EXPO 2011 based on their company’s “*JOIN DATE" with CEDIA. Different dates have been set for members to go online and make reservations, based on when their company membership became active with CEDIA. Members have priority over non-members through May 31, but reservations can still be made after this date. Beginning June 1, non-members will have equal access to available rooms.

Please be aware: because of the extended membership renewal deadline to February 15, the dates for hotel access were also moved back.  In years past, the first access date was February 9; however, the first date for hotel access for EXPO 2011 is March 1.  Hotel access dates range from March 1 – May 31, depending on a company’s “JOIN DATE” with CEDIA.

CEDIA Members must renew their 2011 CEDIA Membership to qualify as a member. If membership is not renewed, you will be considered a non-member and will not have access to hotel reservations until June 1. The main contact listed on the membership is the individual who will be contacted directly via email regarding housing updates.

How To Make Reservations
Please Note: Making reservations is a three step process. If all three steps are not completed by your assignment date listed on the welcome page, all rooms will be automatically released. 

Step 1 – Block rooms. Be sure to log in on your date to reserve your company’s rooms at a nearby hotel.
Step 2 – Reserve each room in someone’s name
Step 3 – Select “Send reservations to CEDIA EXPO Housing” button

Complete all 3 Steps by your assignment date. Rooms left without any assigned names will be automatically released after 24 hours.

Critical Housing Information

August 29, 2011 is the last date to make changes to your reservations through CEDIA EXPO Housing powered by Meeting Services Unlimited.  You may make changes, name substitutions, and cancellations until August 29, 2011:

There are NO FEES for making changes to your hotel reservations until August 29, 2011.  Beginning August 30, you will need to contact the hotel directly to make changes (any cancellation fees directly from the hotel may apply).
