EXPO 2009 - 2011 Exhibit Size Survey CEDIA EXPO will be located in Atlanta for 2009–2011. The Georgia World Congress Center can accommodate more exhibit space, so you will have the opportunity to increase your booth size. We need your feedback to determine future CEDIA EXPO locations based on the square footage needed for the event. If you have not already completed this quick three-question survey about exhibit space needed for 2009–2011, please do so prior to March 12. Please be realistic with the booth size you list so we can accurately calculate which locations can accommodate EXPO in the future. We appreciate your feedback! Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards The Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards competition has expanded to recognize the outstanding strides in technology that CEDIA manufacturer members dedicate their time to each year. EXPO Press Conference Scheduling Any CEDIA EXPO exhibitor may schedule a press conference. Press conferences are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be held in the CEDIA EXPO press conference room, at the exhibitor's booth, or at an offsite location hosted by the exhibitor. NOTE: Any exhibitor hosting a press conference offsite or at a booth still must complete this form to have the event listed on the "Press Events" calendar and to avoid numerous overlapping events. The online scheduling system will open Monday, March 17 at www.cedia.org/expo/exh_promotion08.php. PR Information Request Form To ensure that your company receives thorough and timely information regarding CEDIA EXPO 2008 press relations materials, it is imperative that you complete the online PR information request form on or before Tuesday, July 1. All future CEDIA EXPO press relations correspondence will be sent only to the person(s) authorized on this form. PR Summary Form The online PR Summary Form is used by the CEDIA Marketing and Public Relations team to promote exhibitors, their new products and technologies, and the residential electronic systems industry to media nationwide and globally before and during CEDIA EXPO. Include as much information about new products/technologies as possible when completing this online form. All PR summary forms must be received on or before Friday, August 1 to be included in any CEDIA EXPO 2008 press materials being issued to the media before, during, and after the show. CEDIA EXPO Daily – Place Your Advertising Now!! When making your advertising plans for CEDIA EXPO 2008, remember there is only one Official EXPO newspaper: the CEDIA EXPO Daily. CEDIA has granted NewBay Media, the publisher of Residential Systems, the exclusive rights to publish the CEDIA EXPO Daily. You may be contacted by other publishers regarding a "Show Daily" publication for the CEDIA EXPO. Please note that only NewBay Media has obtained the distribution and publishing rights to produce the CEDIA EXPO Daily. No other “daily” publication is allowed to distribute in hotels or the Colorado Convention Center. Whenever any third party contacts you in regard to advertising related to CEDIA EXPO, refer to your Exhibitor Manual. All official vendors of the show are highlighted in your manual. If there is still doubt, contact CEDIA for confirmation on all official vendors and/or partners at 800- 669-5329. Plan now for your EXPO 2009 Booth Selection Based on your company's priority points, CEDIA EXPO 2009 exhibit space selection has been split into pre-show and onsite selection. Pre-show selection enables the top 120 exhibitors to select their booth prior to September. Onsite selection will take place during CEDIA EXPO 2008 beginning Wednesday, September 3 and continuing through Saturday, September 6.
All exhibitors will receive one month prior to their selection date a UPS packet which will include your company's specific selection date and time, space application form, and detailed floor plans. It has been brought to our attention that Convention Expo Travel has been contacting CEDIA Exhibitors regarding housing for EXPO 2008 in Denver, CO. If you receive a call from a company claiming to represent CEDIA housing and they state that you must pay a deposit be aware that this may be a scam and DO NOT MAKE THE ROOM RESERVATION. CEDIA EXPO Housing does NOT require a deposit and Convention Expo Travel is not affiliated with CEDIA EXPO in any capacity.
