Reviewing for the Exam:
CEDIA University offers the Installer Level I US Review course online. It can be taken from your home or office computer. The course is a pop-up FLASH presentation with instructor voice-over. The cost is $149 for members and $299 for non-members. You will have unlimited access to the course for a period of 60 days. The course may be started and paused at your discretion. Exam Registration Deadline:
Registration
must be done 10 days in advance of the exam date you request. This
is to ensure you receive a seat at the exam location of your
choice. It may take up to 7 days to receive your final appointment
time.
Exam Requirements:
You
must have a high school diploma or equivalent to take any CEDIA
Exam. You must present a valid photo-ID to the exam proctor.
Exam Cancellation Policy:
You
must cancel in writing five days prior to the scheduled written exam
session and a $25 cancellation fee is applied. If you do not
cancel with at least five days notice or fail to show up for
the written exam, no refunds will be given.
If you need to reschedule
your online exam, you must do so 10 days prior to your scheduled
exam time in writing. A
$50 rescheduling fee will apply. If you submit a rescheduling request within 10 days of your scheduled online exam or fail to show up for your scheduled online exam, you will be required to submit a $100 fee to reschedule. All requests should be directed
to certification@cedia.org.
