2006 Industry Recognition
ELECTRONIC LIFESTYLES® AWARDS 2006
In past years, submissions for the Designer Awards have been voted on by electronic systems contractors attending CEDIA EXPO. This year that all changed. Two panels of judges were brought to CEDIA Headquarters to judge on both technical and design merit. The technical panel was composed of CEDIA Members, and the design panel contained both architects and interior designers from AIA and ASID. The new structure of the program will bring more credibility to the awards and also delivers on CEDIA’s initiative to build relationships with architects, builders, and interior designers. The winners of CEDIA Industry Awards, technical and overall Designers Awards, and Manufacturer Excellence Awards for Best New Product were announced on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards Banquet at the Hyatt Regency Convention Center Hotel.
