is CEDIA?
The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA)
is an international trade association of companies that specialise
in planning and installing electronic systems for the home - for
home theatre, multi room audio & video, lighting control, motorised
blinds & drapes, automation, communications & security.
CEDIA was formed in the USA in 1989 and has a total membership of
over 2000 member companies worldwide.
What Can CEDIA Do For You and Your Business?
Consumers, builders, architects and interior designers recognise
CEDIA as a professional resource. CEDIA training programs provide
continuing education in both technical and business skills to help
you grow your business. CEDIA gives you access to data, publications
and other material to enhance your business practices. CEDIA also
gives members a global line of communication to manufacturers, industry
officials and colleagues to address challenges and exchange information.
CEDIA will be posting its regional format for 2003 early next year. If
