Attendee Housing Information
CEDIA Members are able to reserve hotel rooms for EXPO 2008 based on your company’s “*JOIN DATE" with CEDIA. Different dates have been set for members to go online and make reservations, based on when your company membership became active with CEDIA. Members have priority over non-member through May 30, and members may continue to reserve hotel rooms after May 30. However, beginning June 9, non-members will have equal access to rooms.
You must renew your 2008 CEDIA Membership to qualify as a member. If you do not renew, you will be considered a non-member and will not have access to hotel reservations until June 4.

Please Note: Making reservations is a three step process. If all three steps are not completed the rooms you block will automatically be cancelled within 24 hours.

Step 3 – Select “Send reservations to CEDIA EXPO Housing” button
Complete all 3 Steps within 24 hours or the rooms you block will automatically be cancelled.
Critical Housing Information
Changes of any kind or a cancellation of a reservation will be assessed the cancellation/change/name substitution fee, which will be charged to the credit card on file. “No Show” fees will be charged following EXPO, if applicable. You are permitted to make changes, name substitutions, and cancellations in writing for your reservations until August 25, 2008, by going online at www.cedia.org/expo or by fax to 317-578-0621. The following fees apply.

When a change or cancellation is made there are a number of administrative tasks that follow in order to assure the request is handled properly. Most importantly, is the verification of the hotels list of reservations. The list is manually reviewed for accuracy and corrected with the hotel. This process must be repeated each time a reservation is changed or cancelled. Hotel systems are not flexible enough to confirm only changed and cancelled reservations, making this a very time consuming process. While hotels have been instructed not to take cancellations/changes some do, which puts you at risk of having your reservation changed back to match what we have in our system. Since you have elected to use the housing system, we have an obligation to you to make sure your reservation matches our system. Therefore, fees are applicable regardless if you call the hotel directly, make them online or call us.
Additional hotel penalties may apply for cancellations 72 hours prior to your arrival date, early departures, and "No Shows." Verification of these charges directly with the hotel is recommended.
